25-year-old James Duke (Tadhg MacMahon) uncovers a sister family secret when, exactly one year after his mother's death, he decides to pay his estranged grandparents a belated visit. James was just a young boy when his mother suddenly cut her parents out of their life. Now that she's gone, Jimmy decides it's high time to bury the past, and reconnect with family. Shortly after arriving on his grandparents' remote farm, however, Jimmy notices that the locals begin to sneer whenever he comes around, and his grandfather doesn't seem to want him snooping around the property. Later, as the hushed whispers of the townspeople seem to reverberate from the surrounding woods, James discovers a chapter of his family's past through a series of unsettling photographs and bizarre gramophone recordings. Just when it seems the mystery can't get any darker, an unusual quilt and some questionable remains reveal just why James' mother was so intent on making a clean break from her tainted bloodline. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
