    DISSAPOINTMENT. AWFUL

    one of the worst written movies i have ever seen. i felt like i was watching an 80's movie with all of the one-liners dropped by catwomen. Not spoiling the movie for everyone, but the ending was just ridiculous. nothing compared to the original dark knight with ledger. So many different characters that the movie couldnt focus on one person. It was all over the place. from gotham city to the damn desert. If you are empty minded and just want to go see batman throw some punches and drive his batbike then you will enjoy it. But if you actually analyze movies for writing, then you may actually get a kick out of it. I actually enjoyed laughing at how poorly written the dialogue and actual plot were. I give the dark knight rises 2 out of 10 stars.

    What a terrible mess!

    I hate reading reviews before I watch a movie. I did hear that there were some major critics of The Dark Knight Rises. I am now part of that crowd. The other two Batman movies in this series were awesome! But this was just like Spiderman 3….. AWFUL! I hate movies that don?t follow the laws of time. Ticking time bomb movies are hard to pull off. This one was worse than a low-budget made for TV movie. I lost a lot of respect for Christopher Nolan. To be honest, I feel insulted after watching it.

    bruce wayne rises

    maybe i just had too high of expectations for this movie. i was pretty pumped heading into the midnight show. i'm thinking this movie is going to be amazing on so many levels. almost 3 hours later. not so much. this movie is very similar to Batman Begins in that you barely see Batman in this film. If you want to get technical and say "bruce wayne IS batman" . FIRST of all. duh. SECOND of all. get a life and quit trying to stick up for this long, boring, drab movie. This movie is depressing. The only reason i didn't rate this an OH NO! is because anne hathaway as Catwoman. . meow indeed. the acting is wonderful and the visuals are great but overall this film fell flat. Those of you who say this is the best film you have ever seen? Were you even watching the movie!!?? or were you too busy talking to your friends or sucking face with your gf/bf of the moment?

    Didn't we already have this storyline in the first one? Injured must rise above? Doesn't even compare to the 2nd one. Slow, drawn out, rehashed storyline. Anne was amazing. Loved the ending even though predictable.

    MUSIC over powers movie

    Whoever mixed the musical score must be hard of hearing. Many, MANY times the music drowned out the dialogue. A terrible movie experience.....wait for the DVD or stream the movie. This way you have some control over volume

    Sure would have been nice to hear the cast! Oh yea the time bomb thing not played very well.

    Not So Serious

    Too much dialogue, not enough action. Although Ann Hathway played Cat Woman brillantly, I felt the story line could have been better and would like to have seen more action out of Batman. The producers and writers relied too much on the "Batman" brand to sell this movie, rather than putting more substance into the movie. Overall, I went away feeling disappointed.

    The Dark Knight Rises ---so-so

    some spots are tooo far fetched.....
    Not very many funny come backs.
    For Batman to drop out and watch his empire go to pot and fire his long friend didnt come off very heroic.
    does not have the upper hand in any of his spotlights.
    didnt flow like spiderman.

    WORST STORY EVERY!!!

    Out of 3 long boring hours...the Character Batman is in it maybe 30 minutes (combined). It was all focusing on Bane, Gordon, "Blane" (should of been **** Grayson) who is Robin in the last scene, but not in costume. The worst Catwoman I've ever seen. She was NOT sexy, sensual nor purred!!! And her goggles were suppose to be cat ears when she had them flipped up!? I thought Bruce Wayne and the Bat Computer were super intelligent. Not in this movie...Bruce blindly trusts this woman to take over Wayne Enterprises and Bankrupt him. Why didn't he check her out or question anything...No...only at the end does he find out the truth. Fight scenes between Bane and Batman were so slow and lack luster that watching senior citizens fight would be just as exciting!!! BAT TANKS (in army camo) were plentiful and under Bane's control. SO....there was NO OFFICIAL BATMOBILE in this movie. Where were Batman's gadgets? HORRIBLY DRAWN OUT...Wait for dvd to sleep in your own home!!!

    The Dark Knight Rises

    This Movie Sounds Like It Will Be Great But Who Knows I Have Not Seen It Yet I Was Supposed To See It On The 19th at 7 PM Cause I Won Tickets To Go To An Advanced Private Screening From Mt.Dew But That Fell Through As I Was Not Sent The Info On How To Get My Tickets Till Three Hours Before The Movie And I Was Told I Had To Be To The Theater In Seattle By 6 PM To Meet The Mt. Dew Rep. To Get My Tickets I Could Not Find A Ride So That Fell Through And When I Called The Rep. About The Tickets She Cussed Me Out Over The Phone Now Mt. Dew/Pepsi Wants To Say Sorry And Give Me A Shirt Or Hat That Says Mt. Dew On It I Still Want To See The Movie Ill Never Trust Pepsi/Mt. Dew Again

    Not what I expected, terrible.

    What I can say is that I'm spoiled by Marvel Avengers/Spiderman and when I saw Batman, I was like wtf just happen? o.O.........almost 3 hours worth of crap sitting in the chair wondering where the hell is the real extreme action? Yes, there was some action, but is that really it? The story line was good, but we are talking about Batman here and where the hell was the real extreme hardcore action? Yet, batman looks too old to be batman in this one, he was super slow and weak. There's no fancy fighting style, not talking about busting any karate or judo, but at least something more than just straight street style fighting. Action scenes were weak and should have been more of it.
