An excellent payoff for a great series

All I can say is that if you've invested in the previous two Dark Knight movies, this movie is an excellent payoff to a series you've invested in... There are so many things about DKR that make it a stellar film... I'd look at Michael Caine and Gary Oldman at Oscar time, both gave amazing performances. I would also like to express condemnation of the events that transpired in Colorado. Such a vile act should not dampen your drive to see this film. I pray that sensible film fans will support it in the memory and support of those who's chance to experience it was unfairly taken from them.

Finally saw the movie after hearing all the hype. I thought it was pretty good. A bit too long, so I almost fell asleep in the middle though.

Why so serious?! :i

I had high expectations going to see "The Dark Knight Rises" and I was trying my best not to judge it by the long remaining time of the film. It kept my interest but it did drag and thought the film was too long. Not the best in the series. I still think "Batman Begins" is the better film out of the three. The acting was great but I think cat woman was not well cast. Christian Bale is one of the better Batman's. These films are to serious and not for the whole family. They need to bring the level down a lot more. I did see it in the IMAX and I thought that is the way to see the film. Overall I thought the movie was overrated.

Too long at 2hr & 45 mins! and what is with Batman voice? the bad guy is right out of "Road Warrior"--Why? plot same old same old. Besides the very cool BM plane..and Ann H. as Cat Woman...she come off way too hard for her own good....I'm NOT sitting on my seat for this one.

Must See for true fans

The movie has kept true to the spirit of the Batman Trilogy series i.e. the theme and all. For true Batman fans, this movie will definite;y appeal. For others, it is better to watch the first 2 flicks and then watch this in the hall. However, the movie is no doubt well executed. The villain is excellent but not as good as the Joker was.
