I loved The Dark Knight Rises. I wasn't aware of the surprises in the movie. There were parts that made you want to cry and some very jubilant...hooray for the good guy. The plot was fabulous. Christopher Nolan must make a sequel... I'm not divulging any of the surprises but if you're a Batman fan you'll love this movie. I hate it has to end...

The movie is an epic conclusion to the Batman Saga. If you have watched the first two movies, then this movie will not disappoint you. My only suggestion is to watch it in IMAX as that is the best version.

a bit disappointing--

A lot of effort went into this movie, but unfortunately it could not quite live up to the hype. I know this is a Christopher Nolan movie, but how many fans out there half expected Bane to hulk out (but didn't). Christian Bale's Batman is too grounded, there's not even a single scene of him firing a grappling hook and swinging from building to building. Would have preferred to have this Batman glide with his cape rather than relying on vehicles to get him around. Missing also is Batman's skill as a master strategist and an accomplished martial artist. You can tell Christian Bale was struggling to fit in the custome. Tom Hardy as Bane was okay. There seems to be too many half baked ideas floating around and not a single one of it realized. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman was a disappointment. She's a wonderful actress but her take on the character was rather uninspired. I saw this on IMAX thinking that it was going to be that good. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

Great ending to the Batman trilogy. Ties together elements from previous movies and lets Batman and the other characters develop and shine as the heros they are. Great camera work and story. See it in IMAX if possible.

IMAX is probably the best experience to watch this movie... A fantastic sequel to The Dark Knight that keeps you gripped for the entire length of the movie! The drama, thrill & the action scenes are amazing & an absolute Christopher Nolan special. If you haven't caught it yet, time to!
