But the lorax in 3D did not live up to Real steel's excellence or the semi greatness of Hugo or TDKR

I agree, they are both very good series its just that I find Harry Potter a little bit more interesting, with Star Wars its just the same thing. I like both though and so does my dad (especially Star Wars).

They wanted Real Steel to capture the fanboy market and boy that movie surprised me. Hugh Jackman at his best and it should have taken home the Oscar for best visual effects but i was happy for Hugo when i saw it a month later after the ceremony. Real steel was surprisingly heartwarming action packed and imaginative. One of 2011's best

And it did! It was nice combination of Sci-Fi, Action, and Drama (with some comedy). Both Hugo and Real Steel are excellent!

Real steel is better it's just i don't choose to so something that's touching and dark and nostalgic and gentle. But a boy like me who will not embrace it's heart may just as well have a heart made of stone

And i agree that underground scene was slow yet shocking and intense I thought it was really going to end with a whimper but Alfred's imagination of his time in Italy foreshadowed that a little embarrassing ending

There were many funny scenes with Alfred like when he said "Don't worry, Master Wayne. It takes a little time to get back into the swing of things." and "At this point, I'd set you up with a chimpanzee if it'd brought you back to the world!". Fox also has some good lines like "I like your new girlfriend".

I did not mind how of how dark it was but i blame what we read in the papers for influencing the less impressive or semi great movies we see today when i take a break from all that stuff and look at not just ST but as well as Gene Kelly Cary Grant and some of the biggest Hollywood stars from the past. Someone has got to stop the news from plaguing our taste preferences
