The Croods turned out to be a great flick. It was funny and had heart touching moments. The animation is great with plenty of character variety and lots of vistas. On top of all that, it was smart in a subtle way, being a film about the unrealistic way that the continents realistically separated and how the new species of man may have interacting with the old. In reality, it may have been more tragic that depicted here, but I'm glad they stuck to the cartoon stuff. Go watch it!

Great family flick!!! Took our 4 year old daughter last night and she absolutely loved it! Mom and dad are huge fans of animated family films and this one is right up there with Despicable Me and How To Train Your Dragon!!! The 3D was great, she kept trying to touch everything! We all laughed our butts off and at certain points were worried for the characters!! The voice overs were GREAT! Couldn't have picked a better cast for this movie! The Sloth was our daughters favorite part!! Great imagination made this movie what it is.

First off, along with Oz this was by far the best 3D I've seen in a long time. The movie itself was thoroughly entertaining from beginning to end. If they make a sequel, you can definitely count us in. Take some time to take your kid(s) to see this. Maybe they can grab a cool pair of 3D glasses too.

Took my granddaughter, her friend and grandson to see The Croods last night. It was alot fun and hilarious movie ....generational grow, exchange and family love, and how adversity opens the mind and heart to what really counts.
A movie to be added to our Blue Ray collection.

We took our six year old son and eight year old daughter to see the Croods 3D and they both enjoyed it, as did we. They're not ones to like anything too scary or violent, or too action-packed, and this hit the right blend of mild scares, chases, action, and comedy. It was heavy on slapstick, which worked well for us. Most of all the story was quite good; touching but not overly sappy. The 3D worked well overall, though in a couple of spots they went for effects that were a bit dizzying. The story line does provide good fodder for conversation with kids afterwards, there's a lot they can learn from it and think about, but there is also a lot to laugh about after, too.
