I was wondering why this particular film would be released this time of year. I liked the first part, The Collector. A decent slasher/horror film. And I was happy to see the hero of the first film returnning but this movie went way over the top in a good way. But I did wonder if it was up to par for releaseing now when we expect the best films to be coming out. Definately a good Holiday film for us horror fans--thank you evil Santa. If, like me, you're a big fan of horror films, you won't be disapointed with this sequel which is better than the first. However, if you haven't seen the first, watch it before you go if you can. This movie was just right in it's story, effects, characters. Very well put together. Graphically points out the danger of going to Raves with a strange doorman (loved him). It's a 5 out of 5 Stars grading it on the Horror/Slasher graph in my head. Fantastic new kind of twisty-twist ending. Go, horror fans. You'll enjoy it.

This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not a dull moment. I haven't seen a movie where I had to cover my eyes in a long time. Must see if you like horror movies.

There are many scenes which are so loud that a person with 95% hearing loss is able to hear. I like horror movies that make sense and this one is about a masked unknown killer without a motive that just loves killing. It has a good ending, but that is not the end of the movie. There is a PS: The executioner who committed the crimes and the man behind who gave the order.

Acting is average. They try to make you feel connected to the characters but you just won't. Strong female lead who kicks *** is a plus. There weren't any stupid typical horror movie things like dropping keys/dead flashlights. The only one was the no cell phone signal but it didn't irritate me. Awesome death scenes. The club scene was definitely my favorite part. Everyone made smart decisions which I absolutely loved. Sucks that you don't get to see the killer but I'm a fan of the unknown. The death scenes were cool and Saw-esque but without that excruciating dread and squirming feeling. This movie hints all over the place to a sequel. They never really get into what exactly "the collection" is. And although in the beginning they say the killer does not discriminate with his victims, all you see are teens which is the only thing that really irked me about this movie. Not a lot of good horror movies coming out but I'd make time for this one.
