Pretty good stuff. Not as unpredictable as The Hangover, but still a good one... I would deff watch again, I missed a good bit from laughing... Zach Galifianakis makes you laugh by walking, running and talking. The acting is a bonus! Can't wait until it comes out on DVD... It is a must see if you love Zack...err... Seth Galifianakis....

Timley but terrible

These two had a great platform to deliver some truly meaningful (and hilarious) commentary but instead resorted to largely toilet bowl humor. The most amusing lines are literally all given away in the trailers that you've probably already seen... and when you find yourself commenting on how the most memorable parts of the movie are how they ever so slightly tweaked those scenes from the trailer (replacing PG-13 language with R-rated language and a crossbow with a rifle), well... that's never a good sign.

When did vulgarity replace comedy?

I have been a Will Ferrell fan for a long time. His last few movies have been vulgar and lead me to believe he desperately needs to find another group of writers. I think back to his earlier movies and his style of comedy was refreshing but now he's hung up on the "F" bomb making up for the lack of writing skills. Come on people, this movie could have been hilarious with all the political material out there but the writers depended on sex and vulgarity to carry the movie. This is the first movie I've walked out of in a long time and was very disappointed. Save your money. Doesn't even qualify as a rental!

Wasted opportunity with such an important subject

Given the role Citizens United is playing in our upcoming election, there is much opportunity for satirical messaging. Portraying the Kochs Bros.et al., owners of politicians, for the hooligans they truly are - and pointing out the lack of real information in political campaigns in favor of deliberate diversionary "dumbing down" of messages, to become pieces of red meat to satisfy the extremes - are both truly important messages - right now! The excessive use of foul language along with crude and rude scenes were completely unnecessary and actually took away from the movie. I was left wondering - who was the target audience for this movie - do you think this will get them to vote? (no) I had high hopes for the movie and left very disappointed. Went with my 13 year old son, who likes Z.G. He did get that the Motch Bros. were the Kochs, but didn't think the movie was very funny or as good as previous Z.G. movies. Only reason I rated it so-so is the importance of the message.

For a Will Ferrell movie, I was quite disappointed in this film. I didn't find it that funny and the plot was incredibly weak. I was very disappointed.
