On the Edge of My Seat

This movie was very entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. Halle Berry was excellent and did a great job in her role, I was still shaking as I walked out. It is great for adults but I would definitely not let my teenage daughter or children see it as she would never stay home alone again or go to the Mall alone ever again. The ending was perfect and a surprise. Not a movie for young girls.

THe Call was a great thriller. I was very impressed with the direction, it is one of the most exciting films I have seen. Great acting. Highly recommend despite the silly, Hollywood eding.

OMG - Intense!!

I had read mixed reviews on this, but 4 of us decided to go, anyway. We were so glad we had ignored the negative reviews. There were some flaws in parts of the movie, but we were all captured by the action from a few minutes into the movie and the tension never let go! Halle Berry is good. Abigail Breslin is good. The male psychopath was good. We did leave with some unanswered questions which could have better been answered in the movie, but all it did for us was to make for interesting speculation over dinner. As we left the theater, several people were having reactions similar to ours. If I had any criticism, it would have been for the directing. A couple of scenes needed some fleshing out, but the criticism is not strong enough to keep me from recommending this movie. If you like intense, GO! (Not for kids or early adolescents!)

The Call

Terrific movie from beginning to end. Had my oldest granddaughter with me, age 14 and it was a very informative lesson about how quickly things can turn bad. Good lesson for all of us. Halle Berry played an excellent roll in this movie. I'm a retired County employee and I've toured our local 911. It takes special people to sit there and take all the calls all day long, not knowing what is going to come across your line. Life and death situations and also the prank calls...they have to be ready for anything and keep their cool as they help whoever is on the opposite end of the call. I think this is a "must see" movie for everyone.

Great Movie

Based on the trailer, I was afraid it was going to be a movie that Halle Berry should not be in, but I still decided to see it. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie leaves you on the edge of your seat, and at one point, I actually cried. The movie kinda makes you piece some things together yourself, but I loved it. The person I went to see it with was really against it at first, but left saying 'that was a pretty good movie.' Go see if you have the chance.
