This was a good movie. However, I wold not watch it again. It was rated R and I was expecting a jump out of my seat scare and this movie did not do that. I enjoyed the cast and the plot was great, but I just do not think it should have been rated R.

Meh.....the premise is interesting (kidnapped teen calls into 911 while locked in trunk of car). But even though it's only 1 hr 36 minutes, I felt like you figured it out less than halfway thru.
This is sort of a re-hash of "Silence of the Lambs" with a tortured serial killer....yada yada.
I'd wait for the DVD.....and don't let your teen daughters see it (subject is too intense)

This movie was very entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. Halle Berry was excellent and did a great job in her role, I was still shaking as I walked out. It is great for adults but I would definitely not let my teenage daughter or children see it as she would never stay home alone again or go to the Mall alone ever again. The ending was perfect and a surprise. Not a movie for young girls.

GREAT movie - on the edge of our seats almost the entire time - went with a friend who took turns with me jumping OUT of our seats a couple of times! :)
Halle is great (as usual) - different role for her - and little Miss Breslin just as good.
RECOMMEND THIS NAIL BITING THRILLER!

This is by far the worst movie I have seen in a very long time. Mind you I've studied film for quite some time and have graduated from being a student, to working in the industry...so my view is somewhat tainted. That being said, everything about this movie is wrong. It looks low budget. The makeup (bruises) is laughable at times. This is Halle Berry at her worst and I'm talking, back before "The Last Boy Scout" worst. The writing is reminiscent of a Life Time movie at best, and with that being said, the women in the audience absolutely loved it. I saw this movie in a theater filled with teenaged girls and women. They screamed, yelled at the screen and talked through the ENTIRE film. Now as a movie goer I absolutely hated this reaction but as a budding filmmaker, it was refreshing to sit back and see the film from their vantage point. No Oscar worthy anything here. But is you're looking for a feel good "chick flick", where the girls come out on top. Hey, this for you!
