This movie grabbed me right away and did not let go until the end! There was a part of the story that I felt was waaaaay under-developed, but other than that, it was pretty good. I give it a solid B.

I loved this movie! I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. Halle Berry did a great job. I loved seeing Abigail Breslin as a teen.

Good premise and well-acted. Also keeps you engaged. That being said, the ending falls way short: Casey could not have been so strong with her head sliced open, without bandages even staunching the blood flow. (Hasn't the writer ever seen a head wound bleed?) She also would have been dizzy. Unlikely that Jordan wouldn't have called for back-up. Also a stretch that she even found the hiding place. Jordan and Casey are not the sort of people who would have just left Michael to die, especially after Jordan realizing that Michael's psychosis was related to losing his sister from cancer. It's also never really clear what Michael is doing with the girls' hair, and why he needs to keep killing them once he has a scalp. Also Michael wouldn't have been able to hold a job and be as wacky as he was. The scriptwriter had a chance to make something good here, about the problem of untreated mental illness and blew it. I felt cheated by the immature ending and would not recommend this movie.

Halle does it again?! Strength of will and take no prisoners attitude in the suspense packed thriller! Certainly kept me on the edge of the seat! Highly recommend and you will be physically exhausted by the end of this flick.

I have to say that Halle did an incredible job in this movie. The acting is strong. The scenes are realistic and it's the most edge of your seat excitement of any movie in months. The issue comes in that it was probably one of the worst endings of a very good film that I can remember. It was a complete and utter let down from what the rest of the movie was. Seriously, I can not imagine that they did not test screen this for audiences. Had they done that, they could have corrected the issues and this would have been amazing from start to finish.
