Quite predictable, characters make such obvious mistakes, some scenes so farfetched it's hard to suspend disbelief..ending was halfway decent though.

Ingenious topic! Imposing, compelling scenario, married with Halle Berry’s consummate characterization; director Brad Anderson and writer Richard D’ Ovidio open the windows to the innermost bowels, mechanisms of the 911 Emergency “hive” in Los Angeles. The sophistication of the tracking devices; frenetic cacophony, seconds culminating in success or failure; never having spent a modicum of mental muscle wondering about the operators, technicians behind the millions of emergency calls, this was eye- opening, educational, mesmerizing. We went Friday night....and what the other reviewers say is true - everyone was yelling at her, telling her what to do....we were all sitting on the edge of our seats! Halle Berry is great - it has a pretty crazy story....and the ending certainly was not predictable but YAY!

Don't waste your money! Run! away from this awful "thriller." The acting is poor, the plot line is stupid. Halle Berry should get 10 razzies for this one. It's a sad cross between Silence of the Lambs and Panic Room. It's unbelieveable. I can't believe 911 operators stand around observing one operator's trauma calls. The police send out darn near the entire force to catch the perp. This movie is AWFUL!! I give it two thumbs and eight fingers DOWN.
