Great Movie

Based on the trailer, I was afraid it was going to be a movie that Halle Berry should not be in, but I still decided to see it. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie leaves you on the edge of your seat, and at one point, I actually cried. The movie kinda makes you piece some things together yourself, but I loved it. The person I went to see it with was really against it at first, but left saying 'that was a pretty good movie.' Go see if you have the chance.

The Call

Terrific movie from beginning to end. Had my oldest granddaughter with me, age 14 and it was a very informative lesson about how quickly things can turn bad. Good lesson for all of us. Halle Berry played an excellent roll in this movie. I'm a retired County employee and I've toured our local 911. It takes special people to sit there and take all the calls all day long, not knowing what is going to come across your line. Life and death situations and also the prank calls...they have to be ready for anything and keep their cool as they help whoever is on the opposite end of the call. I think this is a "must see" movie for everyone.

That was the ending?

I was disappointed! The previews looked so thrilling and suspenseful. There were times that the kidnapped victim could have escaped! Holly Berry is great actress, but they could have chosen a better wig for her. The movie could have been better.

A Call I'm Sorry I Took....

After reading critics reviews "hard to beat," and even "fun," and film warnings that included "Disturbing wigs," I thought it would be enjoyable, at least mildly. And face it, who isn't curious about "disturbing wigs?" (Halle Berry's- and yes, it was). But this movie grabbed me by the jugular from the onset and never let up. Gruesome, frightening, disturbing, - actually almost made me have to leave to vomit more than once. Do not see if you are squeamish or have a teenage daughter. Particularly with blonde hair. I actually came home and checked my dark closets. This was just CREEPY. Suspenseful? Yes. Taut? Yes. Not badly made, either. Just not the kind of psycho I want embedded in my brain.
