I don't know what the bad reviewers were looking for but this movie was hilarious! I didn't know much about it because I hadn't seen any of the previews. All I knew was Will Arnett looking goofy on the poster and the title. I was not disappointed. Kudos to you Mr. Arrested Development. He proposes on a first date and believes she'll be excited, how funny is that. There were funny jokes, "Yes thank you we're quite aware of the time line". I'm really curious why all the no's didn't like it. I'd like a better explanation than "horrible". What were they looking for in a comedy anyway?? I mean everything says "From the producers of the 40 year old virgin". Get over it. Comedy that genius comes along once in a few years, if that. Props to the Brothers Solomon for stepping out of the box and trying..just like 40 year old virgin.

Feel-Good Comedy

The movie was much better than expected. The previews do not do the movie justice. It's definitely full of silly jokes and dry humor, but they do such a good job of portraying the home-schooled, socially awkward brothers, that you cannot help but feel for them and care about what happens to them by the end of the movie. Will Arnett is a comedy god and Will Forte does a great job, as well. It might not be your favorite comedy film, but I highly doubt you will leave the theater not having enjoyed the movie. Check it out, if you're in the mood to sit back, relax, and laugh.

If you are looking for a totally retarded comedy, then this is the movie for you! We (all 5 of us in the movie theater) absolutely laughed out loud and enjoyed every ridiculous, uncalled for, eeriely creepy brotherly bond these two displayed. At least go see the matinee.
