Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz are great but the script lead to nowhere with an anti-climatic ending. The movie was edited terribly with too many off angle shots that didn't further the thrill and suspense of the scenes, especially the motorcycle chase scenes. There wasn't even a proper fight scene in the end. The movie ended out of nowhere on a strange transition type scene. I was left wondering; is that it? There's no happy ending just a lot of intense foreplay!
Bring back Paul Greengrass or at least a get more competent script writer or this series is dead in the water!

Not as good as the Bourne Trilogy. Was very dissappointed with it. It seems like they just thru together a bunch of scenes that lacked a plot.
They needed Matt in the movie because he was the main star and this movie lacked anything about him. It took forever for the action to take place and when it did it was towards the ending of the movie. The ending made no sense at all it just came upon you and left you blank.
They should rename the movie because it lacked the interest and action of the Bourne Trilogy.

My wife and I saw the Bourne Legacy and we were both disappointed. We are fans and have seen the previous installments of the series. This movie was a typical Hollywood get the cash movie. The movie lacked substance and it dragged along in some spots. But the biggest problem I have with this movie is the way it ended. There was no end, not even to the task at hand. In the previous movies the main character reached the desired goal. I am not sure you can say that about this movie. If the objective was to get off the meds, then they should have done a better job at making this the objective. And why show Pamela Landy at the end, why open the door unless you were going to do something with it. This movie was a waste of time, but I hope the next movie is a lot better. The only thing this movie did make clear is that another movie is to follow. Signed: Left the movie shaking my head!

I was extremely disappointed by the latest in the Bourne series! While Jeremy Renner and the rest of the crew gamely do their best to live up to the expectations created by the previous movies they fail largely due to the pathetic nature of the writing. Tony Gilroy proves with both his script and his directing that he is completely incompetent without an accomplished series of handholders there to bail him out. When Matt Damon claimed that Gilroy's script for "Ultimatum" was so so horrible if it was seen it would end his career some mistook it as Damon being overly hostile to the new crew but after watching Legacy I whole heartedly believe him. The plot was ridiculous even for an action movie and spent utterly too much time focused on explaining the background and not getting into actual storytelling. More importantly for an action movie their is pitifully little action instead Gilroy focuses his time giving long scenes that show the "bad guys" plotting their moves. Fire Gilroy now!!

I knew this was going to be a good movie and it did not dissapoint! You have everything you need to have a summer blockbuster and "The Bourne Legacy" surely did bring it. Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Joan Allen, and Oscar Isaac star in this film where a top-secret government program has a plan to wipe out all of their genetically modified killers it created in the past. One guy will do everything in his power to get away and save himself with some help. What would you do to save your own life? Great flick and i encourage you to go check it out. Everything about this movie was awesome, good fun overall and Jeremy Renner did a great job of taking this series in a new direction.
