With an A-list cast like this one, it's not hard to imagine you'd get some bang for your ticket buck. Unfortunately, it's just not so with this film. This is not the fault of the onscreen talent. They can only do what's on the page. The problem here, plain and simple, is poor writing. Visually and in most every technical way, this work is outstanding. The script doesn't work. Still, thanks to the varied efforts of some of the best working actors and actresses today, you won't leave ten minutes in demanding your money back. If you can catch this one at a matinee price it would be a good bit fairer deal than the cost of an evening ticket. See this film though when it finally hits DVD, cable or stream....that shouldn't be very long. It's worth the look, just not the current ticket price.

The movie was predicatable once you get past the future girlfriend and the ex wife and the relationship that the daugther had with the father. There was definatley some funny parts, but with that amazing cast I did think that it would be better. Robin Williams one of my all time favories did not have a big enough part to make it over the top funny. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7.

Seems odd not to have Robin Williams as the comedic lead, but the rest of the cast pulls it off very well. We laughed a LOT! Very mature theme, plenty of sex, and very funny!

All too predictable wedding movie. Relies very much on mediocre slap stick. A waste of extraordinary talent. Best part of movie is it's only 90 minutes. Alright to watch on cable but, don't waste your money.

It is a must see. After viewing this movie you should realize your family is not so strange after all. The movie portrays everyday relationships and the common mistakes people make trying to protect their loved ones and the bad judgement calls that affect those around them.
