Having read a book about yoga, Jethro decides to become a guru, declaring "that name strikes a spark in my psyche." As the Clampett mansion is turned into a yoga retreat, even Elly May is swept up in the excitement. Meanwhile a "genuine" guru (played by William Mims, who previously appeared as General Grant in the fifth-season "Civil War movie" story arc) hopes to separate the gullible Clampetts from some of their money.
