With Spider-Man being my favorite super-hero, I might be a bit biased, but for all those spidey fans out there, this movie really delivers. With Spider-Man 3 having been released only five years ago, this movie may seem a little premature, but to be honest, I think it was appropriate as they hit the nail right on the head with this one. Andrew Garfield brings new life to the character, and with his acting and excellent writing, Spider-Man finally has that sarcastic wit that he was known for from the original comics and animated cartoon. Emma Stone also plays a great Gwen Stacey who is more than just a love-interest character; She has real purpose in the plot as well.
As far as super-hero action movies as a whole go, this movie really delivers on the fight scenes. Very impressive CG and stunts as spidey flies through the streets of New York. The way he moves and acts also resembles a real spider much more than the first three movies.
This film is definitely a must-see!

Saw the new Spiderman movie yesterday. I am a huge fan, but wasn't to impressed with this one. Something was missing and it doesn't help when people bring infants and toddlers to the movie theater. Keep your children home please! This movie is not age appropriate for ages 9 and under. I didn't like the villain at all. Oh well; my son says I just have to get use to change! Maybe he is right.

The movie is really good. The new touch up to Spider Man's charecter is amazing. The charecter is youtfhul, responsible, mature, flirty and everything one expects. Andrew Garfield was amazing in the movie. The realtionship between Emma and Andrew has been filmed in a really beautiful way. The movie is a must watch!

This is the best Spider-Man film of them all simply because the actors are the best ever assembled to tell Spider-Man's story with honesty, truth, wit, heart, and intelligence. All the lead characters are terrific, brought alive on screen by terrific actors, anchored by Andrew Garfield. The story is captivating. The action is absolutely thrilling and the points of view we get put the audience flying in the air wth Spider-Man himself. This is definitely a made for the big screen film, although it will be exciting & riveting on any small screen as well because of the very affective unraveling of the story of how Peter Parker becomes Spider Man and the great actors for whom we all feel a great deal in their roles. Go and see it! If you like great acting along with the excitement and visual and emotional thrills, sprinkled with lots of heart and laughter!

Sorry to all of those who loved the original movie series with Toby. I did at one time as well. But Spider Man 3 was sub par for me bad acting and just some down right awkward moments. This reboot was done just right. Although the 3D effects did make it a little "video gameish"...if you will. Other then that I thought it was awesome! There is way more emotion and heart put into the critical moments of the movie. And a sense or realism as well. You really feel for Parker when he was up against the lizard. Like oh S$%T there is no way he is going to do this. I really enjoyed the action scenes nothing to far fetched. Spiderman did everything Spiderman would have really done if he were here today. As for the chemistry between gwen and peter I felt was very emotional and very heart felt. Way better then Dunst and McGwire.
