Pathos 101
I wish I could give this movie a good review, because the subject matter is so important. But it's difficult - at best - to make a feature-length movie about ALL of the world's environmental problems, as 11th Hour endeavors to do. Leonardo DiCaprio's production has succeeded at this (somewhat), but at the cost of continuity and coherence.
While some of the experts had some facts I've never heard of before, or ideas that were new and thought provoking, many of them used their time to vent their frustrations or express their theories in a misleading way. And if someone did have something cool to say, it was guaranteed that they'd present their basic argument or fact, and be cut off immediately by another expert speaking about a completely different and often unrelated issue. The result is like being stuck in a stalled bumper car: you're constantly jerked around, and you have no expectations of where you might wind up next.
