    Hilarious, too raunchy but funny

    by nng

Don't listen to the bad reviews-- the reason being...YES this movie was very very perverted..and every other line seemed to revolve around sex or something sexual. The entire premise of the movie is based on teacher/child pedophilia, and that was very disturbing. I almost wanted to walk out in the beginning, because THIS is the basis of the movie- which is pointless, and sick- why make a movie based on a male who is famous for having sex with his teacher?? that was disturbing. There is A LOT of CRUDE disgusting vulgar sexual content and references- masturbation, pedophilia, old person sex, incest...however, the movie itself was HILARIOUS very very funny...many creative funny off the top crazy scenes, ideas. Vanilla ice was also a good addition to the movie and added to the hilarity. This was a FUN movie, and it took you into the movie, while they were goofing off being stupid...you actually felt sandlers care for his son..yes it was even heartwarming...definitely go..

    Funniest movie of the year

I went to see the midnight showing of this movie and could not stop laughing. The jokes are more for the adult audience but that's okay this movie is laugh out loud funny. The whole theater was laughing extremely hard. This movie was the best Adam Sandler movie I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That's my "Worst Movie"

I have to admit, there was an inner voice that told me not to go to this movie. It was far from what I expected. Although my expectations was set to experience a corny movie, this was well beyond what Adam Sandler should be involved in. Poorly written and a waste of all of the actors' talent. There were funny parts (because I like to laugh) but the weight of the funny parts did not justify the movie. This is a definite "Don't waste your money" movie.

How A Short-Term Fantasy Really Plays Out

    by

Everyone had that teacher, friend's parent, etc. they wanted when going through that right of passage known as puberty. This is how that wonderful fantasy would have actually played out over the long haul since your imagination could not account for consequences. Good thing it didn't happen. Adam Sandler always elicits some solid laughs, even in his mediocre tries like "Jack and Jill," but this one is back on par with his other films. His ability to always have a beer with him is very impressive also. Andy Samberg is great as the total tightwad thrust into a most awkward situation, only to find out that his dad is the least of his problems. The supporting cast were top-notch as well with Leighton Meester, James Caan, Will Forte and Vanilla Ice, but the cameos of Rex Ryan as a die-hard Patriots fan and Susan Sarandon as the grown up teacher/lover of young Adam Sandler really stole some scenes. There's a good amount of nudity and the language is pretty vulgar so be prepared for that.

If you're bored and too embarrassed to see Magic Mike, this will do.

Sandler has some funny lines but his character is just too annoying to like completely. It was typical of a recent Adam Sandler movie. Nowhere near the classics that made him a star.

    Hilarious

I thought the movie was hilarious. To me it was kind of like a spin off of Bridesmaids!!! I haven't laughed so hard since Bridesmaids!!! There were parts of the movie that were a little crazy/vulgar but it was good and I can't wait to see it again! Will definitely buy the movie when it comes out! This is definitely a movie for young and older adults.

    Complete Disappointment

    by jaevang

That's My Boy was a HUGE diappointment. Worst Adam Sandler movie yet. I was hoping for humor and a great laugh. Unfortunately I found shotty humor and distasteful comedy. I wouldn't see it again if the studio paid me.

    That's My Boy

Engaging and fun with the usual Adam Sandler humor. However, it did drag in a few spots and it was a bit embarrassing to watch with my 16 year old son during certain points. Overall, it was a fun movie!

    Great

Yes, this movie was cude and a little freaky at the end but it is after all rated R. Not for kids. But it was freakin hilarious!! I will probably go see it again

The best comedy since the Hangover

Combine a crazy amount of dirty jokes, Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and too much laughter to contain in one theatre; and you get this movie. The whole theater was rolling from laughter. Probably most vulgar Sandler film ever. It's all no-holds-barred comedy great for the younger crowd looking for a great laugh.

    For Adam Sandler fans only

The plot was outrageous and ridiculous, as always with the old school Adam Sandler movies, but it was entertaining and at least tolerable to sit through with my fiance who insisted on seeing it. I did laugh quite a few times. He, however, was almost falling out of his chair.

    FUNNY!!!!!!!

Adam Sandler is back! The audience was laughing out loud at times. There were scenes that were comedy at its best. Vanilla Ice, Adam Sanberg and Adam Sandler are a great comedy trio.

    Another Adam Sandler classic

I must say that some of the last few Adam Sandler movies haven't really suited my comedic tastes (compared to his movies of the nineties like Billy Madison, etc.) but this movie brought that level of comedy back. It was very neat to see Sandler team up with The Lonely Island singer and songwriter Andy Samberg. Together they made a truly hilarious comedy. It's a good film to go see for the weekend with friends.

    disappointed

    by 123olga

I love Adam Sandler, but this movie is a big disappointment to me. There was a couple of funny moments but mostly its nothing but vulgar and gross jokes.Just wrong and degrading.
Definitely an R-rated, do not bring your kids to see this movie!

    That's My Boy

    by jefft11

This movie hits a new low for Adam Sandler being crude, perverted and disgusting. I was really a fan of movies like Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates and Mr. Deeds; Adam Sandler can be really funny, but after watching this movie, I felt like I needed to wash.
