3 out of 5 stars! I liked it!

1st: Don't go to see this in 3D if you are a huge 3D movie fan, because you'll leave disappointed. Just save a few dollars and go and see the regular one.

2nd: There definitely was some nice eye candy in this movie to keep your attention.

3rd: The blood, guts, and gore was awesome

4th: I actually liked the way the movie ended, IT WAS SO UNEXPECTED!

5th: The primary underlying theme of this movie is KARMA, so after watching it, take a second and think about how what you do in life can ripple and impact someone else' s life. Simple, treat others well, as you should want to be treated.

Scary movie lived up to it's genre

If you're like me and LOVE scary movies, this one is awesome because it takes advantage of the 3D aspect. Not only does it have a story, but it has stuff coming out at you, unlike some 3D movies like Titanic to say one. This movie made me want to scream (and I could have too, since i was the only one in the theater) because of the things that popped out and how Leatherface kept showing up at very unexpected times and doing what he does best. Althought they showed a typical day int he life of Leatherface in the beginning, they spiced it up for the rest of the movie.

Totally the best 3D scary movie i've ever been to.

Great Gore...stupid movie

took WAY to long to get going. Story took forever. But...for the fan of the gross....you will love it. me? hate i waisted my gift card.

Twist on classic horror!

Pretty cool the way they tired in the old version. .. definitely a waste of money if you purchase the 3D ticket. That was probably the biggest disappointment. .... Other than that it was pretty entertaining.

Horrible

The only good thing was the leaf chick was hot. Other than that it sucked horribly! The WORST of the franchise and 3D didn't help. Made it worse! Don't waste your money.

it was a good movie till the end when the girl turns to be chainsaw cousin from ther on is horrible i would say its seriously not scary at all

My Husband Trey!

My baby Trey is in this movie so it's a just see!!!! I loved it so much just because he was in it. I just hate what happens to him!!! :'(

Chainsaw Massacre 6/10

I like how this movie isn't a sequel or a remake I like how it takes place after the 1974 film. I watched it in 3D it was alright though there were only a few good 3D effects. The idea of having Trey Songz in this movie was like eeehhhh he was practically in the movie just to promote his music and might I add the way he dies is not even by the chainsaw WTF!? Other then that this movie gets a 6 out of 10 from me. - Kidd Melody

Worth it!

This movie had the perfect amount of everything to make a good classic horror film. I enjoyed how in depth it went into the story of the family. Not over killed on sex and gore. Acting was a bit corny at times. Don't waste your money on the 3D. It wasn't needed to enjoy it. Overall it's a got to see in theaters. :)

Definitely Wasn't A Must See Film

This movie wasn't what I expected. Normally that's a good thing, but in this case it was a disappointment. Hearing that it links to the original made me stoked to see it, but the original only played a small part at the very beginning. It was more of a joke than it was terrifying.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake in 2003 made me fall in love with the story so I hoped to be blown away when seeing this one, but nope I was far from it.
What would happen next was predictable and the decisions that the victims made were plain stupid.
As for the 3D, that wasn't great at all. Nowadays 3D sucks. Save a bit of money and just watch it in 2D. That goes for pretty much every film that is being made in 3D today.
It's rare when a good horror movie is released nowadays. Sad but true.
