The Darkside Looks Brighter

With all the prequels and different versions that have came out this one was quite good. I was expecting to be let down but they did a real good job of taking you back to the original movie. At first people in the theatre thought it was going to be shot in that old style of cinematography but it made a smooth transition into the sharp detail and quality of movies today we have come to expect. This movie had a good story and was actually somewhat believeable. I have to give the makers of this movie a hand. They did a good job and instead of ruining an already great movie franchise they added what is sure to be a classic. Also if you see this movie in 3D it is pretty cool. I am a fan of horror and I really enjoyed wathing this. If you are in the mood to have your girl grab your arm every few minutes then this is a must see. I loved it. The only reason I didn't rate it is a must go is becuase I save that for the movies that have no comparison in quaility.

It was very slow moving and boring to watch. The 3D was really not all that great either. The best part of this movie was the preview for the GI Joe movie!

It was good.... a few really cool 3D scenes... I didn't like the end though. See it if you're a fan.

honestly, its okay. there are some parts where i jumped and it was really glory but other than that it was lame.

If you like the other Texas chainsaw massacre you'll like this movie.

An absolute abomination of the franchise!! Wtf were they thinking when they made this? They should of released this as the lifetime Saturday night movie for crying out loud! The real title should have been texas family reunion! It was a lifetime movie with a person gettin knocked of every now and then ( not very imaginatively either, with exception of the Meat grinder) I'm so disapointed

I really considered watching this movie until i saw the cast. How are you going to put feminine looking Trey Songz in a horror movie? Hollywood is really screwing up when it comes to casting actors and actresses worth watching. Im good of this movie, i will not be paying my money to watch this most likely pathetic of a shot at being scary flick. Just cause you can make ****** music doesnt give you the right to bore us with your ****** acting!!!!

Girlfriend liked it but i didn't it was too predictable and just cheesy. I literally went to go get a soda for 5 min and missed every kill it was dumb

Movie was good there was some scary parts. It picks up after the original movie from the 70s.
