Went to see this last night - the theatre was packed. This is one of my favorite movies, and it was even better seeing it on the big screen. They don't make movies like this anymore. Top notch acting.

We took the entire family last night (including our 13-year-old daughter) to see To Kill a Mockingbird as I've always wanted to see it on the big screen. After all these years, it does not disappoint. Our young daughter LOVED it and could really relate to the kids in this movie.
The acting in this movie is phenomenal - not just from Gregory Peck, but from the children, Brock Peters (who played the man accused) and the actors who played the sheriff, and accusatory father/daughter team.
I'm so glad we were given this opportunity to see it on the big screen. Thanks so much for making it happen!

FABULOUS job again TCM!!! Bravo! Stunning looking copy of the film and amazing to see it on the big screen. Even though I have seen it before, it was like seeing it for the first time!!!
TCM, PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE EVENTS!!! It's sooo important to see the classics this way!

There was some serious technical difficulties with this movie in the beginning and the manager and or projectionist were not paying attention so we in the audience had to get up several times and have them check on what was going on, but once the movie got started it was wonderful. It is no wonder that Gregory Peck got an Oscar for this role. It was an awesome movie, made me laugh, and made me cry. I am so glad I found out about this and went to it.

Loved the movie. Loved seeing it on the big screen. That being said
I + guest bought (2)$15.00 tickets to the 7 PM showing of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD on November 15, 2012 at the AMC16 Theatres in Burbank, CA. We arrived at our seats at 6:45 PM.
7 PM no start. By 7:15 myself and other members of the audience were asking questions. No theatre personnel gave information to the audience. At around 7:20 pm, the movie started. No preliminary introductory video or behind the scenes presentation.... just the film. In your advertisements for this "event" a large % of the ad copy was devoted to the special features presentation. I'm sure that is what contributed to the $15.00 ticket price.
I am sure you will receive similar complaints over the next couple days. Hopefully, Fathom/TCM intends to rectify the situation with its paying customers who brought this to your attention, and more importantly if it plans to rectify the situation with its participating theatres.
