Good Event

This was the first time I've seen any Hitchcock in a movie theatre and it was a great experience. Having said that, what made this movie scary 50 years ago is likely not going to keep people on the edge of their seats today. Perhaps we're jaded and/or suffer from sensory overload. In fact, the crowd I saw the film with laughed more than screamed. Nonetheless, if you want to see one of Hitchcock's masterpieces, do go the next time this event is put on.

Excellent movie. The picture was clear; the sound was good, excellent restoration. The acting was good. This is for young children and adults audience. One of the best Alfred Hitchcock’s movies. I loved it.

Definitely a freaky, good, weird, unsettling movie. Long story short, the plot of this movie is about "The Birds". Not one of my more favorite Alfred Hitchcock movies, but still good. The right movie that doesn't seem to have an end and leaves you asking why. I had a pretty good discussion about this movie with friends after seeing this, and I think that our discussion was the point of how the movie ended. Recommended only if your already into the Alfred Hitchcock movie genre. If you are into this genre, you're going to like one.

First, the special event started out with interviews of the stars of the movie, Tippi Hedren, Suzanne Pleshette, and Rod Taylor. It was so enlightening to hear about how they got the parts, especially how Tippi was discovered by Alfred Hitchcock. The enhanced movie was great and I highly recommend any events offered by Fathom Events. Even though I saw the movie before (many, many years ago) it was still suspenseful and great to see on the big screen.

This movie is a Hitchcock Masterpiece! Seen it a zillion times at home on DVD but it was great to see it in a large theater. Still found myself on the edge of my seat! Delighted to attend locally in our area. Looking forward to the next Fathom Event in conjunction with Turner Classic Movies.
