This movie was great to see again and the dancing left me breathless. I had forgotten just how talented these actors and actresses were. This was the first time I had been to the Cinebistro in Vail, CO and it was a great experience. The theater is just as great as the movie was.

Truly a "Glorious Feeling" on the Big Screen!

The communal experience of seeing the 60th-anniversary screening of "Singin' in the Rain" made me feel like I was seeing some newly-discovered alternate version of the film, even though it's the same as it's always been. The shared laughter, the marvel at the spectacle of Gene Kelly's brilliant choreography, as well as spontaneously applauding Donald O'Connor's still-staggering "Make 'Em Laugh", reminded me why the Golden Age of Hollywood was so magical. I wish more studios would utilize the aspect of digital exhibition by which theatres either download or stream films to bring their classics back to the big screen, since the remastering work has already put so many of them into digital form. The audience is there; even more importantly, as last night's screening showed me, multi-generational audiences are there. It was exciting to see so many kids in the audience with their families, enjoying the film as much as I was. What better way to ensure that the films stay relevant?

The perfect movie musical

Singin' in the Rain has long been one of my favorite movies, but seeing it on the big screen made it all the better. The characters are interesting, the music is joyous, the storyline holds together well, the dancing is superb, and the emotions feel real. Donald O'Connor's physical comedy and wry charm made the whole audience laugh and fall in love with him. And I swear the mood of the whole theatre changed as Gene Kelley danced with love in his heart in the rain--I think the ROOM actually smiled! I've never seen a movie where the audience applauded the dance numbers and songs. And the movie is truly that good. If you ever get a chance to see Singin' in the Rain on a big screen, take your grandma, your kids, and everyone you know to see this fun film classic.

What a pleasure to see this again on the big screen. Please bring back more 'oldies' for us 'oldies' !!! We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon showing and hope we can do it again on a regular basis - we think there's a whole new market out there for this type of entertainment, both showings were SOLD OUT, that should tell you something. We want more. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

It was great! I recommend that you consider creating a season of the all time great classic films -- which most of us have only seen on TV screens (more often than not, with commercials aplenty) -- to be shown on your biggest screens. If you did this on a regular basis, perhaps even on your slowest nights (Sun - Thurs), I'll bet you'd be amazed at how well this would work. Also I thought the TCM pre-show talking about the film was terrific. It gave me some real insight into how this film was made. Keep up the good work! Once again, bravo. Al Kraizer al@kraizer.com
