A time-less classic that I can never get tired of watching! It was wonderful to see it on the big screen again, and as I stuffed my face with popcorn and Reeses Pieces, I believe somewhere in there I found a chance to shed a tear! E.T., you'll always be Right Here... in my heart !!!

There's nothing quite like a movie in a movie theater. Sure, it's fun to be able to watch at home, but the big screen makes a huge difference. What a treat to see a classic movie like E.T. in the theaters again!

It was so cool seeing this movie on the big screen!! It was my first time since I was to little to see it the first time in theaters. It was nice to be able to get the info about the movie. It was just like I remembered when I was little. I made sure to get my popcorn & Reece's Pieces(of course). lol. It's a classic movie that any kid should see. Funny & can also make you cry. The story just sucks you in & you will fall in love with it.

Still as good as when I saw it the first time

Whenever I have a chance to see this movie on the big screen, I go. I first saw E.T. in the theater when I was five in 1982. To this day, it still is my favorite movie of all time. Star Wars IV is a close second, but no other movie held such emotion for me as a child and to this day, when I watch it, those old feelings come back. No other movie can do that for me. I saw the 20th anniversary edition 10 years ago with the infamous walkie-talkies-instead-of-guns CGI updates and while it still brought up some of that emotion, it wasn't the movie I grew up with. Now with the re-release for 30 years, the guns are back and so is the film I cherished deeply. The film transfer looked great. The sound was phenomenal. And nothing was lost in terms of E.T.'s magic, wonder and humor. If you're looking for a first-time movie experience for your children, and one that will change the way they view movies, possibly even change the way they view life, I would recommend it above all others.
