A time-less classic that I can never get tired of watching! It was wonderful to see it on the big screen again, and as I stuffed my face with popcorn and Reeses Pieces, I believe somewhere in there I found a chance to shed a tear! E.T., you'll always be Right Here... in my heart !!!

E.T.

This is and will always be a wonderful film for the whole family. This was hosted, with their usual panache, by TCM, which always gives the film a little more Hollywood flair. Unfortunately, there seemed to have been relatively no publicity for the event, other than on TCM itself. Many patrons with children, with whom I spoke, said had they known, they would have gone to see E.T. instead of their more violent choice. The sad fact is not many viewers have higher tiers of cable, where Turner can be found. I would like to see more of "where are they now?" Drew Barrymore, of course, we know, but the other "children", who were so naturally believable---what became of them ? And the quizzes are great fun too ! You need to bring more events to the Boston area with higher profile advertising. Thanks for asking, Sandy

ET treasured memory

I had never shown my 6 year old this movie because I had been hoping for the opportunity for him to experience the movie the way I had 30 years ago. The movie remains timeless and still captures the sincerity of the characters. My son laughed throughout the movie picking up on all the humor, and cried at the end - just like mom. We don't have many movies with boys as the main characters to it was a nice way for him to connect. It brought back a lot of memories for my husband and me. It was a wonderful family event to share and a wonderful opportunity.

E.T's 30th Anniversary Event

E.T was the very first movie I saw as a child and even though I've seen it many times since then seeing it on the big screen for the first time made me feel like a child all over again. There were scenes I feel like I had never seen before and others I remembered but still felt like I was watching it for the very first time. I laughed and cried, sometimes at the same time. It was a total must see, I am so glad I was able to partake in this special event.
