The movie was beatiful on the big screen. Had seen it before but had very diffrent effect seeing it on the big screen. It was funny, sad, I even cried. I wish I could see all my favorites this way. I think the movie is for all ages as it has survived 70 years.

Here's Looking At A Seventy Year Old Classic!

Wow. What an experience. My husband and I have both seen Casablanca many times, since we were kids, on TV- it was one of our parents' favorite movies (our mom's especially!) and when we had the opportunity to see it on the big screen, well, we couldn't pass it up. To see this movie, at 70 years old, still hold an audience enthralled, every joke and nuance appreciated and Bogey and Bergman bigger than life - well, it was a whole different experience. It demonstrated to us that some films are virtually timeless and a human drama, filled with intrigue, romance and pathos, is always "timely". For us, it was an amazing experience to see it as our parents saw it - the only thing missing was a theater full of Homburgs, flowery ladies hats and cigarette smoke! LOL. It's a "must see" for anyone who likes Bogart (or Rains, or Bergman, or fans of great, old b/w movies). LOVED IT! Teenagers through grandparents would enjoy - little guys might get "squirmy". Costuming and sets were A-1.

I went with my older sister and mom to the special presentation of this movie. As a fan I have seen this movie at least once a year for the past 12 years. But seeing it on the big screen was a whole different experience. I fell in love with the movie all over again. Not only that but it gave me a chance to bond with my family even more. My sister who also had previously seen the film had some reservation about taking the time and money to see it on the big screen. Before we even left the movie theater however, she and my mother were going on and on about how different a film it seemed and how they got so much more enjoyment out of it. Movies like these are rare these days and it would be so wonderful if they would replay them every once and a while on the big screen so that the younger generations get a chance to experience what at times seems has been lost among the CGI of today's Hollywood.

As great on the big screen as it has been on television

I have seen Casablanca any number of times, but it was already 19 years old when I was born and I had never seen it before in a movie theater. So when this event happened it was a dream come true. The classic scenes and lines were more powerful than before and the mood of the movie was magnified with the big screen. This was a great experience and I would love to see other classic movies on the big screen.

This was my first time seeing Casablanca and I loved it. The only downside to seeing it, was the theater had us next to Project X. So for he entire movie we hear "boom, boom boom" It was very distracting.
