TCM And The Oscar Goes Too

I enjoyed this 90 minute documentary on the Oscars. It gave some insightful behind the scenes looks, bloopers, unexpected moments. It had laughs, tears, and history. I hope that it comes out on DVD, as I will buy it.

Loved this event. However, the AMC theatres need to get on the dime and post the theatres in advance in Fandango. I had to wait two weeks after the announcement of the event to buy tickets, when other theatres already had the info up.

The movie was a good portrait of the Oscars with a look at its history from both winners and nominees.

And The Oscar Goes To

Enjoyed this very much. If you like old movies and movie stars, you will love seeing their Oscar acceptance speeches and what they were thinking when their names were called. Loved seeing the old stars from the 40's 50's & 60's! I think this documentary is acceptable for anyone to view, but I don't think younger people will appreciate it unless they are old movie buffs. On a whole, I loved it!
