The appealling Disney aesthetic is reborn in CG animation through the story of Rapunzel. It's incredibly funny, has a tight story with strong characters all around. You simply musn't miss this flick on the big screen. I saw this, by the way, on the Disney lot 4 days before release, and the animators hung around after to answer questions, including the infamous Clay Kaytis of the Animation Podcast. More importantly, I saw it with Tyler Phillips (an amazing Dreamworks animator - look for his fantastic work in Megamind and Puss in Boots!) and Bevin Carnes, an independent animator whose film won the Student Oscar. Just trying to give credit where credit is due, people.

This movie is hysterical! This movie is funny and sensitive for children and adults alike, The humor holds the interest of adults, yet also hold the interest of even the small children. I even heard one child asking when they would be able to purchase the movie, which we saw on opening day.
I would recommend this movie to any and all children at heart, no matter your age. One of the best Disney movies in recent history.
