Nothing new about the story line. Kareena looks glamorous as always. Aamir has acted well, but after Taare zameen par, expectations from him have been raised. Not a must see movie.

At the start of the movie itself, we were able to predict what was gonna happen which in a way ruined the fun out of the movie. It had the potential to be a great movie but revealed too much at the start itself.

5 things i wanna point out about the movie:
1st: Movie is pretty slow .. not much action's going on.
2nd: but every single shot relates with the movie..so use restroom before the movie or during the interval.
3rd: All of these 3 superStars have acted very well
4th: It's little different than Amir's any other movies
5th: Rani's role could be little wider and better
Final thought, through out the whole movie, it made me TO THINK about the climax (which i, somehow, predicted correctly).. and i really kindda liked it.

Two years ago ensconced in a theatre in Delhi, the palest face in an arena of enthralled Indians, mesmerized by a Bollywood film revolving around the escapades of good and evil politicians, even without subtitles, I was astonished by the depth of the actors skills. Today, once again the lightest-complexioned individual, surrounded by Indian-Americans, in a Midwestern city, hypnotized by "Talaash", blessed with subtitles; feeling a sliver of optimism that Indians, removed from the confines of India's borders, are finally succumbing, supporting their fascinating genre in the Western world...
The answer, remedy "lies within", requiring monumental courage to flay the layers of denial, obfuscation; revealing a path to redemption, acceptance, peace...

TALAASH is very different from most of the bollywood movies. Most bollywood flicks are known for their dances, songs, comedy and colorful locations. However, there have been plentiful examples in Indian movies, where story, script, and acting overpower the stardum of the actors to deliver a great movie experience. This is one of them.
I won't get into the story, but if you want to enjoy the movie fully, PLEASE GO WITHOUT READING A WORD ABOUT THE STORY. Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena kapoor, all have left their stardum back home and appear here as STELLAR ACTORS, who are not just believable, but true to life. Even the simplest of scenes will keep you glued to the seat. The director has well managed to balance all scenes (no scene is too long or hasty). The script is well thought and intelligently managed. The nice twist is a matter of individual preference, but it fits perfectly in story. People who think bollywood movies as "sing and dance" should must watch this. Recommended!
