    Good suspense Movie

    Excellent movie to watch. Everyone acted really well,
    especially Nawazuddin Siddiqui did an awesome job.
    As usual Aamir is a thinking persons actor.

    The movie is just the opposite of what most Bollywood hits are made of. I
    Its slow paced.
    No melodrama.
    No item number.
    No action, jut plain old good fiction film.

    A Predictable SO-SO Movie

    At the start of the movie itself, we were able to predict what was gonna happen which in a way ruined the fun out of the movie. It had the potential to be a great movie but revealed too much at the start itself.

    The good: The film is replete with good performances, very good screenplay, enthralling screenplay and backgroiund music.
    The bad: A could-have-better performance from Aamir. The direction of the film after the pre-climax. The climax. But go watch it to figure if the answer indeed lies within.

    Talaash never ends ?

    A different indian movie with an intellect theme. Slow paced serious genre coupled with few lighter moments. Could have been better scripted. A subtle way of story telling to accept what life has to offer. Also, the suspense is upkept only for the 1st half & the 2nd half gets somewhat predictable. Good for a one time watch, certainly.
    Recommend to go only if you can enjoy such genres

    Nothing new about the story line. Kareena looks glamorous as always. Aamir has acted well, but after Taare zameen par, expectations from him have been raised. Not a must see movie.

    Talaash - Can watch

    The movie is good, a bit slow at times. The actors have all done a great job, specially the character artists. The movie holds on due to them.

    The subject was managed well and the script was tight which ensured their is continuity. However feels overly inspired by some of its hollywood predecessors on the same topic and theme. Though I am surprised that a Bollywood movie did not take the concept over the top, but kept it subtle and within the parameters of the crisp script.

    Below Expectations

    I was very excited of 2 reasons...1 it was of a whodunit genre which is my fav and ofcourse it starred Aamir...whom I a big fan...booked the tickets and infact influenced 4 friends of mine to join me :)
    The movie starts superbly and continues to keep us interested and involved till first half...however, the second half slows the pace...and soon loses the grip...the last 20 mins, the suspense is almost very clear and that is soon resolved...this itself is a big big disappointment...
    Performance wise all are very good...Aamir, Kareena, Rani...someone who stands out is Nawazuddin (one who played the cop in movie Kahaani)...
    the story is a let down...hard to digest since this comes from Aamir...
    but i think i will still keep my loyalty with him...after all he is a human and he can committ mistakes :)...

    Decent movie

    Overall I liked the movie. After reading mixed reviews I went with low expectations and wasn't completely disappointed. But one thing is for sure that it doesn't live up to the high standards we have come to expect of Aamir Khan. The two sides of the movie haven't been tied together well. The suspense isn't as intriguing and pace slows down several times. All the three lead characters have performed very well but I guess the story and particularly screenplay has fallen short. Can't credit the director for a great job either.

    5 things i wanna point out about the movie:
    1st: Movie is pretty slow .. not much action's going on.
    2nd: but every single shot relates with the movie..so use restroom before the movie or during the interval.
    3rd: All of these 3 superStars have acted very well
    4th: It's little different than Amir's any other movies
    5th: Rani's role could be little wider and better
    Final thought, through out the whole movie, it made me TO THINK about the climax (which i, somehow, predicted correctly).. and i really kindda liked it.

    Decent suspense flick!

    Talaash is a taut, engaging, suspense drama (not thriller) which is a decent watch on a dull winter day. Given its an Aamir movie after 3 years, expectations are sky high and Talaash doesn't disappoint. At the same time it is not a cult, genre defining effort for Bollywood cinema. The mystery, which is an integral part of the movie, is interwoven between 2 (or three - depending on how you look at it) interwoven stories which run in parallel and provide you with a satisfying climax. Script is tight, dialogues apt and performances are solid. However, there is nothing exceptional, groundbreaking here as you expect from an Aamir Khan movie. Definite watch....but does not stand against Kahani (from any perspective), a film it has been related to long before its release. The difference between good and great....

    90% of Movie went wonderful

    Movie was Good ...
    Actors were Awesome ... Aamir and rest - all met the expectation ...

    Ending could have been better/different. ... a Psyco or an undercover cop - could have been better twist rather than Supernatural

    MUST SEE THRILLER of 2012

    This was by far one of the best moving this year from Bollywood. Amir Khan at his best, one of those movies that keeps you on the edge of the seat. This one is for the theater..

    Good acting. Screenplay could be tighter

    The movie starts promisingly with a realistic portrayal of Mumbai avoiding the glamorized versions presented by the typical movies. The suspense is held tight till the intermission despite the parallel inner stories. However the director let's the screenplay run a bit loose after the interval with too many deviations from the main story that leaves you yawning at certain points. However Amir, Rani and some of the supporting actors keep the movie alive with their good acting. Overall, a good watch albeit not unforgettable.

    Surprise!!!

    surprise can be surprisingly good or surprisingly bad and this is one movie where i am not sure which category this movie belongs to. Its like you like aamir khan or hate aamir khan but you cannot ignore aamir khan and i still belong to the fan category. Liked the music which was situational and suited the whole mood of the movie...good performances...specially nawazuddin and aamir...worth a watch

    Uncompromising... Not your typical Bollywood fare

    Fantastic performances by Aamir, Nawaazuddin Siddiqui and Rani Mukherjee. A break from the typical song-dance routines...Disciplined and effective screenplay and direction.

    Definitely a GO... Almost a must go - if only, the suspense was a little more layered...
