My hubby and I really enjoyed seeing this movie especially after seeing Taken. It was suspenseful and had some life lessons that anyone with a family worth fighting for can learn.

Often the first is better. In this case that applied. It left room for a 3rd movie.
I did enjoy how the daughter was able to be of great assistance, was brave and could follow her father's (as he called it Compulsive ways) which I could relate to.
It was as you expected and rated Violent.I would not recommend it.
Unfortunately you can only come up with so many angles and it was used the first time.

This is one of Liam's best films. He does exceptionally well in this and for a rare occasion you see a little bit of humor from him at the end. Most of his roles are strictly gang bang and see yaaaaa. Well acted, fast paced, would see again....

Yes, it's much like the first. But, I was still on the edge of my seat the entire time. This is one of those movies that shows how far out of touch the critics are with the general public. It was not as predictable as I thought it might be, and the action was stellar. All I have to say to the critics is this: those who can't, teach, those who can't teach, become critics.

I really enjoyed the first Taken and was hoping that the second installment would top its predecessor and really wow me. I was, unfortunately, disappointed to see that Taken 2 was actually just the skeleton of the first film. The action was lackluster and fell incredibly short of the original's and kidnapping didn't have all the danger edge-of-your-seatness that the first had. My friends and I were very often laughing out loud at the film's ridiculousness. Despite its shortcomings, I would recommend Taken 2 as it was semi-enjoyable... I'd wait for DVD release though. Let's just hope Taken 3 isn't in the works.
