Movie was good enough to make an afternoon work. The plot is getting a bit repetitive and tedious - hope no fool will make Taken 3.
Neeson at his best always but one runs out of patience with the somewhat erratic behavior of his daughter.. again.
See it for the fun or wait for it at Netflix

Taken 2 was a great movie. It was sort of predictive as far as what was going to happen since seeing the first one but nevertheless I enjoyed it.

Everything it was supposed to be. I feel I knowMills and his family well. Taken 3 sure to come if it makes money and my theater was packed. Set up by the two sons left alive

I saw Taken multiple times in the theater. Thought it was a great movie. Taken 2 was just as great. I liked the way that they showed the continuation of the plot of Taken, yet the movie could have been a stand alone movie. It was indeed different enough so that you didn't feel you were watching the same movie over. Yet you could still recognize the mental mechanations of Neeson's character as he keeps his cool while being kidnapped.
Again, Neeson executes the role superbly and is very believable as the divorced retired CIA agent who tries to stay close to his daughter while continuing in the only line of work that he knows. I am a Liam Neeson fan, but would have loved the movie even if I wasn't.
This is a love story as well as an action flick. But if you like action flicks you should definately go see Taken 2.

When I first saw the trailer for Taken 2, It was like watching the trailer for Taken all over again, but I gave the movie a chance by going to see it anyways. I basically was right. I felt like Taken 2 was nowhere near as action packed as the first, It was actually kind of slow through most of the movie. The parts that were action packed were hard to follow, it was hard to adjust my eyes and be able to see what was going on because everything was moving so quick. And the movie seemed to be over very fast. I won't be seeing this movie again, or buying this one.
