    TAKE THIS WALTZ

    This film was a delight and pleasure to watch. Michelle Williams brings an effervescent and quirky woman character to a new height. She gives a fantastic performance. The film moves along a little slow; but for the storyline it's fine. It points out what many of us have to deal with in our own relationships. It is easy to take one for granted and there is a price to pay for that reality. The acting is good from all the cast members. The director uses 360 degree shots to highlight scene moods. This is an adult film for sure; but it has a message for anyone at the age to date someone seriously. Go and see this one for an enjoyable night at the movies.

    Waltz right on by this movie.

    If a current movie is also available at the same time for rent on home cable it's probably not going to be a good movie. I knew better and yet I still rented this movie because I like the two actors. I was asleep within 30 minutes. Eventually (a two day rental) I watched the entire movie but not without having to fast forward it several times. It's slow and tedious, it's awful.
    To sum it up, it's one of those movies where if you watch the entire thing you will be mad at yourself at the end for wasting your time. To my cable company, "I want my money back". To paraphrase Albert Brooks, "I want those hours of my life back."

    Not TOTALLY boring, but pushes the limit !

    This is not a bad movie, but certainly is not a good one. On a 1 to 10 scale, a solid 5. Only fell alseep twice, then it got slow! Characters are completely devoid of any reason to relate to them.

    eh...

    I really wanted to like this movie but I didn't. I just don't buy into the whole "love story" thing that's going on with Margot and Daniel. Margot is a fussy, needy, annoying woman. She won't engage in a physical relationship with Daniel because she's married to Lou but she insists on spending all of her time with Daniel and asks him questions like "what would you do to me?" (sexually speaking). If she spent half the time she spends with Daniel with her husband maybe he'd have time to give her the sexual healing she's looking for. I won't tell you how things turn out and I'm sure some of you will truly enjoy the movie but I just couldn't get over how annoying Margot is and how much I wanna punch her in her stupid head. There is a butt load of nakedness including big thick bush so beware of that.

    So so bad

    I don't know why people say this is good. It was painfully slow and Michelle Williams' character is possibly one of the most annoying movie characters ever. Way too long, way too much unnecessary nudity and absolutely no takeaway message. Do yourself a favor and don't waste two hours of your life on this!

    SKIP THIS DULLARD AND GO TO THE BEACH!!

    Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen star as a couple ("Margot",  "Lou") so devoted to each other that their endearments are flavored with untoward, torturous sentiments. She is aimless, rootless, devoid of ambition; he cooks and writes about chicken for a living. Enter Luke Kirby ("Daniel") as the distraction that temporarily stimulates the seemingly drugged, comatose Margot. Many might recognize these doomed couples but with alacrity and insight flee their negative energy.

    ONE & 1/2 STARS!
