I saw this at the Cannes Film Festival. Charlie Kaufman is a genius. It's real life. Don't miss it.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who got it! Hilarious if you have a morbid sense of humor...yet deeply moving and thought provoking synecdoche - a figure of speech in which a part is used for the whole or the whole for a part, the special for the general or the general for the special

Confessions of Being an Adaptaion of a Dangerous Spotless Mind

I found it quite amazing on many levels. (acting, visuals, dialog, concepts...) That's not to say that I understand it. It's certainly confusing but really that's part of the fun of it. It definitely stuck in my head and I'm probably going to go back to see it again to try to "get" more of it. Almost a cinematic Finnegan's Wake. If you're not in the mood for something different or challenging then this is probably not the movie for you. (but you should go anyhow) ~abe froehman

I stared at the ceiling

I encourage you to avoid this film. I quite literally began staring at the ceiling just because I was tired of holding up my head to watch it. Not kidding... and that was well into the second hour. Unfortunately, the trailer for this film is very misleading. It hints of a story with a definable arc. But it is nowhere close to that...it just descends into a tangled depressing mess with far too much symbolic crap to keep track of. We just quit caring because it was too much work to decipher.
