At one time secretary to singer Edith Piaf, French actress Suzanne Flon began making films with 1947's Capitaine Blomet. Flon specialized in portraying bored European aristocrats, giving a particularly impressive performance in this vein in Orson Welles' Mr. Arkadin (1955).
