Assemble the Minions! Despicable Me 2 arrives in theaters today and it's sure to be a holiday weekend hit. As we've been doing all summer, we've gathered together a bunch of despicable trivia and tidbits to supplement your viewing experience.

Let's start with free stuff. If you purchase you tickets for Despicable Me 2 on Fandango, you'll receive a free download of the song Just a Cloud Away by Pharrell on iTunes!

Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig and the stars of the highly anticipated sequel chat with us in our exclusive video interview. Carell talks about being a protective father and how the franchise took off while Wiig talks about returning to voice a new character. The interview also includes Benjamin Bratt, Miranda Cosgrove and the cast's best Minion impression.

Keep this Origami Minion away from the flame thrower! No word on how long it took to make this little guy, but it's nonetheless impressive.

Last month, Carell stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' talk show dressed up as Gru. Watch as the despicable supervillain dances with Ellen's audience.

An oldie, but still a goodie. Here are the Minions reimagined as The Avengers by Lester Squall.

One of the subplots in Despicable Me 2 finds Gru confronting the dating world. Here Carell narrates a featurette about Gru's many dates.

Speaking of dating, don't tell Gru about this kiss. Read the short story about Minion Dave's first kiss.

What good are Minions if you can't have them help you out with a cold call to ask a girl out on a date? Check out this clip as Gru practices calling Lucy to ask her out.

No banana is safe in World War M

The Minions also help Gru and Lucy with an escape attempt from the villainous El Macho. The only problem is, well, they're not the best drivers in the world.

Hitting the beach this weekend? Keep an eye open for the Coppertone Minion.

They are the World's Finest: DC Comics Minions.
