Strutter

A delicious LA rocker story, deadpan funny, in beautiful black and white, with clean sound and good new songs, STRUTTER is a gloriously independent picture from Allison Anders and Kurt Voss, the third of their ground zero portraits of Los Angeles music after the ground-breaking Border Radio and Sugar Town, a series stretching back to 1987. With a humane and loving eye for the pathos and humor of young heartbreak, and a joyful ear for music, Anders and Voss love their town and its idiosyncratic ways.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. Strutter was great in all aspects. The music was very well done as well as the sound all around. It is unbelievable that all is accomplished by spending only $25000. I can not imagine what they can accomplish if they get a real budget and equipment. I wish I had the money or I was in the movie business to support such talented film crew. Real talent, Real people, really nice movie. I have tons of respect for each and everyone who was involved in Strutter. I want everyone to see it.
