This is Step 4, no doubt about it. For those who've seen the others, this one shines like all the rest. The dialog and plot are an afterthought but the dance numbers are why we go and they are extraordinary. There have been a lot of imitators of Step but there's only one original. If you like dance and young people expressing themselves as artists, this is your ticket. You won't be disappointed.

I totally enjoyed this movie. Having never seen any of the previous Step Up movies, I did not know what to expect. But I ended up loving the storyline, and the characters, and of course all the dance moves!!!! Older teens would like it, and of course young people in their 20's-30's too. I am in my 50's...just a big kid at heart. Go see it as it has no violence at all, and that is rare in this day and age.

then you have to go see this movie. the dancing is great and it is full of dancers from past seasons of the tv show, so you think you can dance. i past on seeing it 3d as 3d movies tend to give me a headach, but i am sure it would have been great.

Best Step Up movie, yet! The choreography was amazing and the story line relevant. Took my daughters and their friends ages 8-16 to see it and they all loved it. For the parents out there, there wasn't anything in the movie that I minded my youngest seeing. Maybe 3 or 4 curse words but not anything too awful. Already counting the days until I can buy it on Blu-ray.

I attended this midnight release and it brought back the music and dance that I grew up with in Florida. There were a few cheesy parts, but I rate this as a fun & great movie with a good story line that I didn't expect.
