A classic but not for 3D

Most of the SW Episodes will remain classics in their original state, but i don't believe any were produced with the intent of going 3D. The 3D effects didn't really add that much to the original, though it was still thoroughly enjoyable on Bid D with Sensurround. If the rest are like this, it doubt i'd pay the 14 bucks to go see them again. Blu-Ray on a big flat screen at home might do me and the kids just fine.

Nothing new

Right off the back I was annoyed since the promotion which had been at the local AMC website in my area (NYC) had already run out. This was upsetting since the promotion for the Pod Racer 3D glasses had stated it would run the entire weekend with the purchase of each ticket. This turned into a bait/switch in my opinion. Then to watch 1/2 of the movie w/o the glasses made it worst since there was barely any real 3D going on.

... And Everybody Clapped

I love all the Star Wars movies, especially on the big screen. We went to a matinee to keep cost down and I am glad. The 3D was OK but not as striking as say, Avatar 3D, which I use as my standard. Still had alot of fun and everybody clapped at the ending.

George Lucas Should have just stayed with a bluray release.

The 3d in this movie was not that good. I was really disappointed. I really dont like most 3d movies but this one was not really "3d". It had its moments but very few.

this movie was really bad in 3d. you could tell everything was computer generated. it look way better in blu ray. Even when i convert the 2d to 3d it still looks better. dont waste your money seeing this movie or any like it. cool glasses though
