Glad I went, but 3D not necessary

I took my kids to see Episode I primarily because they had not seen a Star Wars film on the big screen, and they loved it. Of the six movies, it's the worst in my opinion, but it was entertaining. The 3D addition was OK--still seems foreign to me and is not necessary for this film that was not made to be shown in 3D

I had my doubts about 3D but this movie was truly amazing in theatres in 2D back in 1999, and now its even better in 3d!!! GO SEE IT!

I took my boys to see this movie in 3D. It was O.K. but seemed like the old movie, not much 3D action except for the pod races. Other then that really not much different then watching at home just more pricey.

3D effect was nearly nil

The 3D effect was terrible. So bad that I finally got up, found the manager and asked if there was a problem. Several people left. No need to pay the extra $3 for the glasses....or even put them on. We will not be going to see any of the other releases unless there are major improvements in the 3D effects....otherwise, we can stay home and watch the movie here.
