The 3d in this movie was not that good. I was really disappointed. I really dont like most 3d movies but this one was not really "3d". It had its moments but very few.

I really enjoy all the episodes and it really wasn't a hard decision for me to want to see this film agin on the big screen. With that said, Star Wars was not filmed in 3D and wasn't meant to be watched in 3D. There were some good effects but it was far from awesome or cutting edge tech.
I do not have any plans to watch the rest of the installments if they are released in 3D. I'd much rather view these movies as they were meant to be seen, on the big screen, in there original format.
If your a big fan and can't resist the urge, knock yourself out. Otherwise, don't expect to get a big bang for your buck and sit this one out.

Though is remains the weakest of the Star Wars movies, it still has a great pod race and lots of other excitement. It is not enhanced by 3D. It is absolutely no better than the first screening many years ago.
They did not have to add 3D in order to re-release the Star Wars series successfully. People will go to see their favorite Star Wars movies at the cinema just for the pleasure of seeing it again on the big screen! I would rather be able to see it again without 3D!!

Always a good movie on the big screen. The 3D didn't pop out at you like I thought it would. My 6 y/o daughter loved it & told everyone.

Yes its Star Wars Episode 1 weve all seen this before.Good flick Nuff said! I am rating the conversion. 2D to 3D conversion. The conversion was a 7 out of 10. Only because there were some scenes with the light saber that were blurry and bright with to much glare.. The soundtrack was a little better than before. Not every scene benefited from the conversion. You really have to look at this movie kind of like the colorized BW white films of the 1990s. It will never be as good as if it were shot in color. The difference here for 3D is even is this movie was shot in 3D. It still has to be made in 3D. FIlming the entire movie and the CGI etc. from a 3D perspective. You cannot just move from one scene to the next without considering how it will look in 3D. Certain scenes in this movie transition to fast. You would not normally do this if you were considering a 3D perspective. A better way of stating it would be 3D art from. I wish I could explain more. 2D to 3D conversion is Just OK!
