Star Trek: Into Darkness. How do I write a review without major spoilers? That's a hard one, but I think I can do it.
Into Darkness had the perfect blend of seriousness, action, humor, emotion, and predictability that it needed. I cried during a certain part, even though I knew what was coming next.
When something is predictable but you still love it, you know that it's good. I am looking forward to the next film, whenever it may come.
Go see Star Trek: Into Darkness now!

I'm a Trekkie and I loved this movie! Plenty of action and plot development! I hope this will keep the franchise going! JJ Abrams. I am planning on seeing it again!!

Except the the ******* couple sitting behind me who kept talking and hitting the back of my seat during the entire movie. I was so tempted to turn around and say something but held out. Theater was pretty full or I would have moved.
The movie was fantastic to say the least. I saw it in 3D at the Dublin CA IMAX last night and thought it was amazing...from the special effects to the sound it was top notch...except for the ******* couple behind me. Thanks for taking my full pleasure out of it you assholes. Leave your whispering and big feet at home dipshits. I've read about people who get pissed in movies and now I know why.
In my 50 years of watching movies in theaters I have never encountered such rudeness...assholes!!! I hope your rectums are infested with a gazillion fisures for the rest of your lives...assholes!!!

Just came back from seeing this movie, and i was impressed. It was funny, suspenseful, and if you've seen the Star Trek movies from the 80s, especially "Star Trek II", you'll get the essence of the plot easily. The acting was great, the special effects were what i'd hoped they would be, and the movie was just like i like movies: not too long and not too short(just about 2 hours). I hope(and i'm pretty sure) they make another one in the next 2-3 years. I highly recommend this movie, and i usually don't recommend sequels.

Chris Pine is a much improved Kirk in this film. Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and Simon Pegg are perfect as Spock, McCoy and Scotty.
The core of the story is a bit familiar and Kirk and the crew does a bit of growing up.
Great film with a worthy villian.
