Good fun!

Some plot holes, but that's to be expected. Lots of good chemistry between the characters, and Benedict Cumberbatch gives a superb performance as the heavy. If you liked the last one, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end credits. Star Trek purists will be left a bit unfulfilled due to the relative shallowness of the plot, however the movie was fun and entertaining.

J.J. Abrams really has a nack for Star Trek. It is really cool how the stories are just a little different because of the timeline change when he re-booted the series. I hope he continues at the the helm of the movies an not have to wait 4 years.

All in all, pretty good. Darned good. Definitely a thrill-ride with a lot of eye- and mind-candy up to and including... things i won't mention here because they would be major-league spoilers. It is extremely colorful on many levels and their production detail is everything you could hope for (check out the fletching on the spears in the opening sequence). My main quibble about the thing involves a couple of points of plot-logic and physics (Free-fall is free-fall, ******!) but, I can say that the movie I saw entertained me in a big way. I think you'll like it, too.

This movie will have all Trekkies cheering! JJ Abrams has done a phenomenal job of updating storylines and character interactions from the 40+ year old Trek franchise. This is a must-see for adults and young adults. I will definitely be seeing it again!
