The second installment of the new Star Trek movie Into Darkness starts off and finishes at warp speed pace. Onsrceen the cast posses that chemistry and connects to the Trekie in me like the movies of old, maybe even more so. Benedict was brilliant as the villian and the plot completely took me by surprise. Cant wait to purchase it on Blu-ray. Best movie I have seen so far this year including Iron Man 3.

This is a fantastic movie, from beginning to end. Do yourself a favor and see it in 3D, you will not regret it. Also, if you go to ArcLight, La Jolla, Theater 7 is the largest theater (which I found out in reading reviews). :D

Simply put, to say "MUST GO!" just feels inadequate....
Wouldn't be surprised if this movie prompted Fandago to add a "STFU & GO!" rating! And ....just for the record that stands for "Stop Trolling Fandango Unendingly & GO! ... at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;)

A great movie starts with a great trailer that can get you excited yet give away as little of the actual plot as possible. Kudos to J.J. Abrams for the excellent set up and execution!
This movie had the right amount of everything...drama, comedy, seriousness, cheesiness, action, acting, cinematography, costumes, action (deserves a double mention), special effects, set design...everything!
As predictable as some parts were, other parts seemed to warp out of nowhere to great effect. Into the Darkness seems both familiar and fresh. Some elements definitely echo The Wrath of Khan even though this story takes place parallel to that one in an alternative universe sort of way.
This movie shows that the Star Trek franchise has legs and plenty of room to stretch them into future amazing movies.
The beginning of the credits has cool planetary scenes (especially in 3D). There's nothing after.
If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

I loved the first movie, and I honestly didn't think this movie would come close. It didn't. It absolutely blew past the bar the first on set.
