Star Trek Into Darkness: A battle between good values and bad values

The Creator's prime directive is life. The Creator sets the way of life and the way of death before us and asks us to choose life. "Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death." (Jer 21:8 NKJ) Kirk is tested at Starfleet and on a primitive planet and both times chooses life over the dead traditions of men. Kirk respects the human rights of his neighbor equal to his own divinely endowed rights. Kirk has rightly chosen life. Khan believes his rights are superior to his neighbors and this gives him the right to force them to conform or to kill them. Khan, like evil Cain, chooses the way of death. Star Trek Into Darkness is a great adventure and moral play.

Star Trek is Back

After the great reboot of Star Trek, this sequel raises the stakes even higher. Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan is phenomenal as well as rest of the returning cast. The movie was exciting and faced paced at all times. However some things in the story were kind of ridiculous and feels poorly written at time. Overall the movie was very enjoyable and the action and visual effects were definitely on par.

I know it's sci-fi fantasy but how come when the artificial gravity fails the crew starts falling as the ship is plummeting toward earth? And damn Kirk had a looooong time to fix the energy system.

Best Star Trek Ever!!

I loved this movie so much, I had to go see it again. The story line continues to follow the original series, while also allowing for variations due to the return of future spock in the 2009 film. The graphics were absolutely amazing and breath taking, and the story had me completely emotionally engaged. If you enjoy Star Trek, this film is a must-see!

Star Trek Characters / Star Wars action

This one might not be as thought provoking as some of the TV shows, but it kept us on the edge of our seats almost as much as the oringal Star Wars did the first time I saw it. Still not wild about the new timeline, but Abrams has done a commendable job of not forgetting those of us with decades of ST vestment, while enticing new generations to the franchise. If you go into this one having purposely avoided all of the advanced leaks / discussions, you are in for some surprises. Even if you know the rumors, you'll enjoy the action. IMO this is one of the better ST movies of all time.
