Star Trek 2 - Into Darkness - I have to say that this was one of the better Star Trek films and a pretty good take on the second movie attempt with the original cast of William Shatner and the rest of the crew. Ricardo Maltaban played Kahn in the the second film called, "The Wrath of Khan", so that made this film special because I always considered that to be the best movie of the old crew. All in all, a great movie for sci-fi buffs. I do recommend it and give it 5 stars. I really like the new crew of the Enterprise. Hope to see more movies with them in the future.

The movie brings back some old characters, and adds some interesting twists in this alternate universe. Loved the 3D, the action, and the effects were great. Really liked the story, but am ready for some original plot lines.

J.J. Abrams did an outstanding job on this movie, just as we have come to expect from him. The movie had a great balance of humor, action, drama and conflict, and with no less respect, the "return" of an old nemesis was awesome! I was definitely not disappointed with all of the actors' performances and I especially enjoyed seeing more of the development of Kirk and Spock's friendship. The movie is arguably appropriate for anyone except very young children given the violence.

Really liked the new Star Trek. Lots of action, edge of the seat stuff. Special effects, well, cgi has everyone on the same level now, but these were awesome. New villian is an a$$kicker. He also never blinks, definite sign of an evil guy.
95% original, but why, Mr. Abrams, did you do that 5% of not-so-original? You know what I'm talking about. And you have been doing so well.
Not going to dwell on a negative when there is SO much positive. A true Trek fan will have no problem following this movie. Unlike Star Wars, which can be followed at any point, in any episode, from any year. Wars is for kids, Trek is for adults. So is this movie.....
Loved it, go see it, then go see it again, just like I am about to do in 45 min....
