Loved this movie. Pine & Quinto have that Kirk/Spock magic. Simon Pegg is great. In fact, the entire cast is great. Can't wait for more films.

Star Trek: Into Darkness 3D

Great, great movie! My wife is a Star Trek snob. She has personally met Mr. Nimoy, and it will NEVER be easy for ANY actor to meet her high "Nimoyan" standards when portraying Spock. Zachary Quinto has done it, though! He gets two thumbs up twice from her! Also: my Wife is doesn't typically cry. Not at movies, not over passed away pets, not over strife and stress. She's another "Iron-Eyes." Into Darkness made her cry! Well, well done! For myself, there was exactly ONE disappointment: the 3D effects. After about 15 minutes, I stopped noticing the difference in perspective. The movie might as well have been on a flat screen. I think 3D entertainment won't really come into it's own until either personal VR goggles create a 360° wrap-around view, or movies are projected in a 3D hologram where the images physically move around the theater. I don't think I'll be buying tickets to any more "3D" movies again any time soon.

Loved the movie. It was much better then the first one. Held my suspense and kept me chuckling at the similarities between the new characters performing as the original ones. Each of the actors portraying the originals did a first-rate job. Also loved the surprise cameo appearance. The 3D made it awesome also. It is a fun experience. I would definitely recommend this film to everyone.

To Trek, or not to Trek.

Let me begin by saying I have watched all of the Star Trek movies (old and new) so I had high expectations for this one. There were some issues with storyline and some of the plot made no sense, but overall, I would recommend this movie to most people. I like the actors, I liked the special effects, and I enjoyed the idea of the movie immensely. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 4 stars.

Khan revisited story deviated from original fine but then throw in the same storyline with the warp engine offline except somone else other than Spock faces death was a little too much for me. Good action keeps you going just disappointed with the storyline
