The Roller coaster of emotions experienced in this film were incredible. This film blew my mind with every scene. JJ Abrams out did himself again creating a beautiful film with amazing acting from the leads Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto. Not only will I be seeing this film a second time in theaters, I will be preordering it as soon as I can!!!

This was fast paced from the moment the movie started, but what else would a trekkie expect? I was riveted to my chair laughing at times and wanting to scream at other times. The scene where Kirk reverses roles and ends up in the radiation chamber of the warp core was my favorite, because for the first time Spock showed the human side of his emotions. Something tells me this is not the last we'll see of the USS Enterprise. I can't wait for the next one!!! I give this 10 out of 10, a MUST GO for anyone who has ever been a trekkie.

After the great reboot of Star Trek, this sequel raises the stakes even higher. Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan is phenomenal as well as rest of the returning cast. The movie was exciting and faced paced at all times. However some things in the story were kind of ridiculous and feels poorly written at time. Overall the movie was very enjoyable and the action and visual effects were definitely on par.

This movie is well worth the cost for a 3-D movie!!! As a 25 year Trekkie veteran. JJ Abrams made up for his mistake of blowing up Vulcan in his first movie. The first movie was very good, but this new movie Into Darkness ROCKS!!! It takes a lot for me to give any Stark Trek movie that high a rating since some have been so bad like Star Trek V. That one was horrible.
So enjoy the action and adventure of the moive it is great...Plot is well thought out this time.

For me, "Into Darkness" did not live up to the hype. The story was just too meager for a full-length movie, and even so there were some pretty significant plot holes. Also, I found the action sequences to be overly drawn out, as if they were padding.
That said, it is an enjoyable flick. The acting is outstanding. I especially like the Spock/Kirk dynamic, and Benedict Cumberbatch was marvelously threatening as a bad guy.
In a nutshell: not fantastic, but enjoyable and definitely worth seeing.
